RUPERT PEARCE GOULD
Authorised by the FCA.
He has a degree in Engineering from Cambridge University, is a chartered accountant and has been a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant. He founded the business in 1986. He has been the Finance Director of a family business and a private equity backed technology consultancy. He has been Chairman of a listed Company and a start up that grew to c£30m turnover.
He has been managing director of an equity release business and started a venture capital fund in the 1980's. He has been a mentor on the Ignite programme at the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at the Judge Business School and is now an Entrepreneur in Residence.

EMILY HOYLE
Following a degree in physics she has a strong background in research both at Ruffer Investment Management and with Burson Marsteller. Latterly she has been a relationship manager for Standard Chartered in the Middle East.

JOHN GOODGER
John was a financial journalist at the Investor Chronicle and spent four years in financial PR before he started advising young businesses, helping them to refine/strengthen their business model and secure funding. John is a director of Eastern Capital Alliance, the regional angel network, building on his involvement with the former Great Eastern Investment Forum based in Cambridge. He is a former board member of Griffin Mining and LPA Group. John is a mentor in the Understanding Finance for Business team and has considerable experience in developing new finance and business opportunities.
